Reach Recruitment is currently collaborating with a leading UK meat product manufacturer, seeking dedicated Despatch Operatives to join their team at a state-of-the-art facility in Hull. The Factory produce of a diverse range of flavourful coated chicken products, such as Kyivs, goujons, and steaks. The ideal candidates will demonstrate reliability, flexibility, self-motivation, and a strong work ethic, with the potential for a permanent role.
They are on the look out for a Despatch Operatives to become an integral part of there team! You would be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of day to day operations within Despatch department, taking direction from the Chargehands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading of vehicles
- Picking orders on our in house systems
- Ensuring all Despatch requirements set by the Chargehands and Supervisors are met in a timely mannor
- Ensuring products are stored correctly while maintaining traceability at all times
- Maintaining food safety standards at all times
- Reporting any issues or shortfalls when required
- Demonstrate a good attention to detail with orders
You Will:
- A motivated and friendly attitude towards teamwork and assisting colleagues
- A good standard of both spoken and written English (essential)
- Previous experience in despatch, warehousing or the food industry (desirable)
