Reach Recruitment are proud to be recruiting for plant operatives for our client in HU12 specialising in bio-ethanol production.
This role is to work outside in the process condensation area, overseeing the maintenance and operational running of the sludge thickener. Full training will be given, along with PPE provided.
Role Requirements
- Previous experience working in a renewable energy plant or similar environment would be advantageous.
- Previous experience working in water treatment plants or chemical plants would be advantageous.
- Candidate must be physically fit.
- Candidates must be happy to work outdoors.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Role Responsibilities
- Monitor and control the plant and implement any necessary operational changes.
- Maintaining housekeeping within the plant.
- To carry out first-line preventative maintenance activities on the equipment with the support of a Computerised Maintenance Management System.
- The Plant Operator is responsible for supporting the shift leader in the safe, efficient, and effective operation of plant equipment and processes.
- Manual handling
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday - Rotational shifts
- Shift 1 - 6am until 2pm
- Shift 2 - 2pm until 10pm
- Shift 3 - 10pm to 6am
Pay:
- £12-£13 per hour, plus monthly shift allowance, if all hours are completed per month.
