We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Production Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling products using various hand and power tools, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the production process. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work efficiently in a warehouse environment.
Duties
- Assemble components and products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in the training of new staff on assembly processes and equipment usage.
- Report any issues or defects in products or machinery to the supervisor promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a production or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required by production demands.
