This position involves meticulous evaluation of all aspects of food safety, quality, and compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate for this role will possess QA experience in the food manufacturing industry.
Key responsibilities of the QA Technician include:
- Conducting audits and monitoring all stages of the manufacturing process.
- Ensuring adherence to good manufacturing practices across the site.
- Monitoring product quality.
- Accurate completion of paperwork and recording relevant information.
- Exceeding daily audit targets for hygiene and housekeeping in the designated area.
- Educating production colleagues on good manufacturing practices.
- Ensuring completion of all start-up checks.
Candidate requirements:
- Understanding of quality assurance and technical standards.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with a diverse workforce.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Organised and efficient.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Working hours:
- 4 on / 4 off, 12-hour shifts – 6:00 am to 6:00 pm
